Review of a study designed to identify the factors that contribute to Community Health Aide/Practitioner (CHA/P) retention and attrition, with an emphasis on the influence of CHA/P support structures within the community and from family colleagues and employers. The study relied on qualitative methods of analysis, specifically on key informant interviews.
