Community Health Worker White Paper: Report and Recommendations

Paper intends to trigger a deeper, cross-sector, statewide conversation about CHWs that will result in a CHW road map for the state. The paper describes the history of CHWs, their effectiveness in achieving health outcomes and cost savings, highlights what other states have done, provides considerations and insights from the field in advancing the CHW workforce, and offers practical recommendations to move forward.
