Community Health Worker Talking Points – General Information

Metropolitan Community College now offers the Community Health Worker course, designed to develop communication skills, interaction strategies, and awareness of local health care resources. Emphasis will be placed on understanding the legal and ethical responsibilities involved with advocacy, and how cultural beliefs play a role in community health practices.
