The purpose of this project is to elevate the status of community health workers as an occupation by building on existing infrastructure and already conducted work. This project is not intended to “re-do” what has already been completed; instead this project is intended to further propel Delaware’s progress towards recognition of the Community Health Worker as an valued professional integral to efforts to improve population health.
