Certified Community Health Worker: Job Analysis and Standards

In December 2015, the Rhode Island Certification Board (RICB) set out to conduct a Job Analysis (JA) to define the roles of the Community Health Worker. The mechanism for this study was a focus group. This JA describes the important elements required for a competent Community Health Worker. The results of the JA provide the basis for making a valid claim of appropriate test score inferences.
